  • In the academic year 2014-15 the result of the matriculation exam is 100%.
  • The result of class XIIth for the academic year 2014-15 is approximately 80%.
  • The most distinguished feature of the school is that now it has become a Model School and one English medium section has been assigned for each class from the grass-root level.
  • Every year, school holds special classes for the NMMS scholarship. With the hard work and efforts of the teachers and students, Deepshikha Yadav has got 20th rank under this scheme.
  • VTP courses have been organized under the Skill Development India Scheme launched by MHRD.
  • Students of vocational stream have secured 1st prize in Electrical wiring in 24th State Level Vocational Competition organized by Vocational Education Department.
  • Students of vocational stream have also secured 3rd prize in Troubleshooting in Electrical Appliances in State Level Vocational Competition.
  • A project named “GOOD MORNING” is smoothly running in the school which aims to enhance the basic language skills of primary students.
  • To promote Punjabi language, another project “KNOW PUNJABI” is also benefiting the students.
  • “MINIMUM LEARNING” project from class Ist to VIIIth has already been started to ensure basic skills of Reading and Writing.
  • To provide the realistic learning experiences, students are made to visit various historical and educational places through excursion trips. Recently the meritorious students were taken to the Science City, Kapurthala and Chattbir Zoo.
  • Teachers attend seminars and workshops held by the Education Department to sharpen their teaching skills.
  • Every year, the school organizes an exhibition on various subjects i.e. Science, Maths, S.St and all the three Languages to provide a platform to the young minds.
  • One month Special Computer Training Programme was organized by our school in summer vacation on its own.


  • We have a N.S.S unit in the school in which more than 100 volunteers serve the villagers in the various community activities.
  • Khuda Ali Sher village is adopted by the N.S.S unit of school.
  • Under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, the N.S.S volunteers have done door to door visit to educate the villagers on the issues of hygiene and looked into their toilets to ensure cleanliness.
  • Rallies are organized by the school students to create awareness among the village residents on the issues such as No use of polythene, Drug de-addiction, Water conservation, Anti cracker, Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao etc.
  • NSS volunteers took out a rally in the village against Polio disease.
  • A Child Mapping survey is conducted every year in the month of March to locate the percentage of dropouts in the village area.
  • Yoga Day was also celebrated during the summer break on 21st June in which our staff members & students were made aware about the significance of Yoga & other Aasana through physical exercises.
  • A special meeting was held with the SMC members, Sarpanch & all the staff to put their ideas together for the formation of New Education Policy as per the instructions of MHRD.
  • Many other activities pertaining the community participation are also conducted at regular basis & as per instructions to inculcate the moral and social values among the students.


  • Our school Bhangra team performed at the closing ceremony of the 61th National Games.
  • The same troupe also graced the opening ceremony of Chandigarh Carnival held in the month of November, 2015.
  • The team is also going to represent our City Beautiful in Folk dance competition at National Level to be held in Bhopal in December.
  • Our school secured 2nd position in “Inter State Shabad Gayan Competition” at Lala Lajpat Rai Bhawan, Sector-15, Chandigarh.
  • The team also participated in “Inter State Competition on Patriotic and National Anthem” at Lala Lajpat Rai Bhawan, Sector-15, Chandigarh and were appreciated by the judges.
  • Gulafsha of class Xth secured 1st position in Inter School Slogan and Painting Competition held at Lala Lajpat Rai Bhawan, Sector-15, Chandigarh. Laxmi and Dimple of class VIIth bagged their position in Consolation category as well.
  • Dimple of class VIIth and Vivek of class VIth got prize in Consolation category and awarded with 2500/- each in State level competition organized by BBMB held at Indradhanush Auditorium on “Save Energy”.
  • An NGO named Centre for Social Work, P.U, Chandigarh in collaboration with Humane Society International, India, conducted a drawing and painting competition on “Save Animals” in which seven students were declared as winners and were honored by them.


  • Three students Sukhwinder Singh (IX), Gurpreet Singh (XI) and Harman Singh (X) represented our school in National Circle Kabaddi and won bronze medals for us.
  • Harjeep Gir (IX) was awarded by bronze medal U-17 category.
  • Three students Mehkar, Manish and Suraj won silver medal in Inter State Taekwondo Tournament.
  • One another students Yogesh bagged bronze medal in Inter State Taekwondo Tournament.
